In the years to come, when I grow as a writer, having written some 2516 blogs, few books and hopefully few of them as bestsellers, I would not have forgotten Mr Suraiya. Few things come without replacements, same applies to him. His humourous writing is unparalleled.

Few facts about the writer:
An associate editor with the Times of India, Jug Suraiya writes two regular columns for the print edition, Jugular Vein, which appears every Saturday, and Second Opinion, which appears on Mondays and Wednesdays. He also writes the script for two cartoon strips that appear in The Times of India, Duniya ke Neta, for which he collaborates with Neelabh Banerjee, and Like That Only, for which he collaborates with Ajit Ninan. His blog takes a contrarian view of topical and timeless issues, political, social, economic and speculative.
